Having attained a Fine Arts degree at
Natal University in the 1960's, Sarah Fynn
taught at various high schools in Harare before enjoying eleven years
of bush life at Hwange and Kariba, where she learnt to observe and
love Africa's wildlife first-hand. After a further 10 years teaching in South Africa, she moved to Dubai
in 1994 where she taught
seven royal children and had two solo exhibitions. In 2000, Sarah returned
to Zimbabwe, where she has exhibited in group & solo shows ever since. She has a relaxed loose style
which accurately captures
the minutia of movement she studies in the bush around her.
